Abstract Avenue - Audio Port (legoego)

I haven't had the opportunity to check out much of the output from the 'realitively' new german netlabel legoego, but I became an instant fan when I chanced upon a cut from 'Audio Port' on a german radio show. While the track featured was of a trip-hop nature, I was suprised to find a wide variety of sounds when I checked out the full length. Skipping across the fringes of ambient, idm, and glitch, with a sprinkling of jazz and even indie influences, 'Audio Port' will keep even the most seasoned electronic listener guessing. A few personal favorites are 'FreeDAY 10aClocK', 'Zwischenraum', 'Eden', and 'Champs Elesees'. I must however make special mention of the track that was featured on the aforementioned radio show 'Rama', which is a complete jazzy trip-hop masterpeice. Clocking in at a bit under 10 minutes this smokey scratch filled epic is about as good as they come. I would have loved to hear more tunes from this lp geared towards this direction, but that absense in no way brings this fine recording down in points. True quality.
