Dorthy's Magic Bag - Sfinxen, Påsen och Garderoben (X-Dump)

To describe this release, from my favorite of the new batch of netlabels The X-Dump, in one simple word, the obvious choice would be eclectic. Contained within these six tracks is the most wild diverse trip into electronic experimentation I've had the pleasure of diving into for a long while. It starts off chill and beautiful with 'Cola', then track two takes a bizarre twist into a sort of bossanova boogie woogie on 'Mon a Carte Velèur' with it's silly leads and LaLaLa singing. Then the industrial laced, german vocaled, pumping basslined 'Eier Sind Der Finder'. Then things get a little crazy with the psychotic distorted speed beats 'Efedrin' (which they apparently took one too many of), and this theme is carried into 'Pedofil' with more over the top experimentations.Finally, this odd trip is laid to rest with 'What I Like', with it's strange rants like 'Lots of expensive stuff, that's what I like', in what I'm hoping is a sarcastic version of MTV like bling-blingology. Wow guys, if the X-Dump can keep up this quality (and I just downloaded the newest release from Paza which kicks some serious ass too!) they are quickly moving their way to the top of Pheedbakk's beloved netlabel list!
